13th Beach Golf Links, host of the Vic Open since 2013
The Vic Open is now Australia’s richest golf week because of a combined prize pool reaching an unprecedented $3 million.
Both men and women will compete for equal prize money on the same courses at the same time. This certainly makes it a unique event in world golf.
The men’s event is co-sanctioned by both the European Tour and the ISPS PGA Tour of Australasia. Importantly, the men’s champion will earn an exemption on the European Tour until the end of the 2020 season. They will also have playing rights on the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia through 2021.
The women’s event is co-sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour and the ALPGA Tour.
The Vic Open at 13th Beach Golf Links is played across two 18 hole championship courses, The Beach Course and The Creek course. Click the links below to see more of each course.
The Beach Course – designed by Tony Cashmore and opened in 2001.
The Creek Course – designed by Tony Cashmore in conjunction with Nick Faldo and opened in 2004.
Set on the stunning Bellarine Peninsula, 13th Beach Golf Links is famously known for its two award winning courses, with first class conditioning all year round. With a modern Clubhouse and great facilities, whether you’re a golfer, or simply want to admire the views, visiting 13th Beach is a must.
